"Home" for the Christmas Holiday!

We had the amazing opportunity to host this young girl from the Ukraine for 6 weeks during the summer, and it was such an amazing experience.  Miss "J" is completely blind, but she is far from what you might consider handicapped.

All of us learned a lot from the experience and we have decided to host her again over the Christmas holidays..  It will be so exciting to see her open her presents and enjoy all the wonderful holiday foods!

It's been hard for us to come to the realization of just how much we love "J", and how much she has so richly blessed our lives in just the short time we've known her.  We were not "looking" to be involved in another older child adoption, but sometimes God just moves your heart in directions you never knew you wanted (or didn't want to) go...

Please pray for our family and for "J" during this time as we seek Gods will in regards to her future.  Coming up with the funds for hosting is going to be a little difficult this time around, so if you feel led to donate to help bring her back "Home" to Texas, please consider using the donate button to the right.  Any amount you can donate is so greatly appreciated!

The VERY good news is that we've received word that a generous donor who does not wish to be identified will be matching donations up to $1000 from today on!!!  God is so very good and has already blessed us with so many blessings.  From the bottom of our hearts..  Thank you!
